Veep Debate

Just watched the debate. Sarah Palin is the Readers digest Condensed version of a vice-presidential candidate. She leaves out all the hard words.

Joseph Duemer is Professor of Literature Emeritus at Clarkson University in northern New York state. His most recent book of poems is Magical Thinking from Ohio State University Press. Since the mid-1990s he has spent a good deal of time in Vietnam, mostly Hanoi.   1. She reminded me a lot of Andy Griffith’s character, Lonesome Rhodes, in the 1957 movie A Face In The Crowd. I keep wondering what she sounds like when the cameras are off.
