NOSTALGIC VALENTINE
When it comes to pain
I puss I puss
though I do admire suffering in itself
just not my own ass
what powerlessness creates
absolute powerlessness creates absolutely
isn’t every evening as
ambiguous as suffering
of uncertain parentage
hot an’ cold themselves
wholly spiritual effects
and then things got cloudy
had the earth lived into him
as I once had?
