War Criminals

It is remarkable, to say the least, that former Attorney John Ashcroft was shocked by the deliberations in the White House on how to torture specific suspects. “History will not look kindly . . .” The US has been ruled by criminals before, but not to my knowledge by an organized gang of war criminals & profiteers. John Ashcroft felt called upon to reprove their behavior. Later: Digby’s discussion catches the awful, bitter vomit flavor these people produce.
