		<description>We had a weird summer -- long hot dry spells interrupted by days of heavy rain. Worked for the peppers. But I don&#039;t even try tomatoes down here in the woods. Too much shade &amp; too short a growing season.</description>

I haven&#039;t managed to get a ripe pepper yet, and I&#039;ve had more green tomatoes for dinner than red ones.

Of course, the lows haven&#039;t reached anywhere near freezing yet.</description>
